1. What does "Right on!" mean?





KEY

right on: (informal) Used as an expression of strong support, approval, or encouragement. Sp. bien hecho! E.g. You're learning English? Right on, man!

KEY:

People are removing snares from an animal reserve. Snares are used to trap animals and are excruciatingly /ɪkˈskruːʃieɪtɪŋli/ painful.

dispose of something: to get rid of something, especially something that is difficult to get rid of. E.g. an incinerator built to dispose of toxic waste.

snare:

1. a trap for catching an animal, especially one that uses a wire or rope to catch the animal by its foot. E.g. A rabbit was caught in the snare. Some of the local boys used to set snares.

2. something that is intended to trick someone and get them into a difficult situation. SYN trap. E.g. I didn’t want to fall into the same snare again.
