paradigm shift /ˈpærədaɪm ʃɪft/ ​a great and important change in the way something is done or thought about. A time when the usual and accepted way of doing or thinking about something changes completely. Sp. cambio de modelo/paradigma. E.g. Wegener’s theory led to a paradigm shift in the earth sciences. I could convince only a few of my colleagues of the need for a revolution, a paradigm shift. 

bespoke: made specially, according to the needs of an individual customer. E.g. bespoke software. a bespoke suit.

complacent: /kəmˈpleɪsnt/ pleased with a situation, especially something you have achieved, so that you stop trying to improve or change things – used to show disapproval. Too satisfied with yourself or with a situation, so that you do not feel that any change is necessary; showing or feeling complacency. Sp. autocomplaciente. E.g. a dangerously complacent attitude to the increase in unemployment     complacent about somebody/something We must not become complacent about progress. There’s a danger of becoming complacent if you win a few games. A complacent attitude towards the problem. complacent about  We simply cannot afford to be complacent about the future of our car industry. We won, but we’re not going to get complacent. Sp.
