amenable: willing to accept what someone says or does without arguing.

E.g.

She was always a very amenable child.

amenable to  

Young people are more amenable than older citizens to the idea of immigration


 articulate something (to somebody)  to express or explain your thoughts or feelings clearly in words.

E.g.

She struggled to articulate her thoughts. 

It is the school’s duty to articulate its practices to parents.

blunt:  speaking in an honest way even if this upsets people.  Sp. demasiado directo  

E.g.

To be blunt, many of the candidates cannot read or write.  

Julian’s blunt words hurt her.


unfettered: not restricted by laws or rules. Not limited by rules or any other controlling influence.  Sp. sin restricciones, sin trabas.

E.g. 

unfettered economic activity

Poets are unfettered by the normal rules of sentence structure

unfettered by social conventions. Sp. libre de las ataduras de las convenciones sociales.


collate: to bring together different pieces of written information so that the similarities and differences can be seen. Sp. cotejar.

E.g.

to collate data/information.

E.g.
